You must heat seal the tops though as the SA strip will allow air to enter and if dropped or turned over contents may slide out of the sides even with the most careful sealing: bringing the sealing strip top to the edge of the opposite side then folding to seal.I don''t recommend stapling and crystal clear cellophane tape would be the only option other than a printable labeling type tape as an additional seal ensuring nothing can slide out of the sides. It is not a problem though, just a caution buyers should be aware of. The bags are printable with a quick drying thermal ink, or with a laser printer using toners ( B& W toner works best on the draft setting or equivalent ) 6) These make an extremely versatile packaging solutions with hanging options for small items like findings and chain-by-the-foot etc. and the vast range of sizes. 7)They also hold flat printed material keeping them water resistant, as well as being perfect for inserts in kits you may assemble for earring backs, changing a snap-on bail, etc. I use them in classes to present printed materials and for small items like sanding bands, pre-measured casting grain, burs, mounted points etc. included in educational materials distributed to participants. Believe me I could go on about bagging things in these wonderful bags that far exceed a "zip top"in so many ways.
