Metal Table Bases for Stone & Granite Table Tops

We recommend bases made from cast iron, or heavy guage steel and stainless steel for use with stone tables. Cast iron and steel bases offer a variety of designs to help fit your style, and are great for indoor use. Stainless steel options are great table bases for outdoor granite and stone tops, since they are corrosion resistant and easy to clean. You'll want to use a plywood or MDF sub-top to attach our metal table bases to your stone table top.

We list recommended table top sizes on each product page, but please keep in mind that these recommendations are for wood (medium weight) table tops. With heavy stone tables, the maximum table top sizes on our product pages may not apply. A general rule of thumb is to take a look at our maximum recommended table top size, and then remove 6". So for example, a table base that supports a 36" wood table top may only support a 30" stone table top.
