Outdoor solar lighting systems use solar cells that convert sunlight into electricity. The electricity is stored in batteries for nighttime use. TEMPO mobile solar light towers combined with SUNLIKE solar lights are easy to install and require virtually no maintenance. Using them avoids trenching, wiring, and electricity costs.

Important

To avoid deep discharge of the batteries during storage, fully charge the batteries every 4 months. Please make sure to install the light fixture in an area with plenty of sunlight. An average of at least 3.5 hours of sunlight per day is recommended. Choose the correct operating mode based on local regulations and sunlight conditions. Keep it out of shadows. Self-cleaning occurs when the light fixture is at a minimum angle of 15 degrees from the horizontal. Please save these instructions. Read all instructions carefully before attempting any installation or wiring. Do not open or attempt to repair the SOL TECH light fixture yourself, as this may cause severe damage and void the product warranty. For any questions about installation, please contact your local dealer. The lighting fixture has a range of 20-26 feet (6-8 meters). The ideal installation spacing between fixtures is less than 16 feet (5 meters). When installing two or more fixtures on one pole, select the desired operating mode before installation. When changing the operating mode after installation, radio frequency interference may cause delays or malfunctions in the remote control.

Precautions when using solar panels

When the solar panel is exposed to sunlight, volume tage appears on the output terminals of the solar panel, turning it into a source of electricity. To avoid the risk of electric shock, make sure to cover the solar panel with an opaque (dark) covering such as paper or cloth during installation. Do not touch the terminals when the panel is exposed to sunlight or any other light source.

Mobile Solar Light Tower  Installation and wiring requirements

Installation and wiring must comply with state and national electrical codes.

SUNLIKE 20W/30W/30W PRO models are for outdoor use only and should not be installed in unventilated areas and must be installed in an environment within the operating temperature range defined by the product.

The average sunshine hours in the installation area should be more than 3.5 hours/day to ensure full functionality of the fixture. Avoid shaded areas.

Before installation, if applicable, make sure the light pole and its foundation are stable enough to withstand the lighting equipment.

Before installation, make sure the battery is fully charged. If possible, install on a sunny day.

Before installation, press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to check if the indicator light is red. Cover the solar panel and check within 1 minute if the light module lights up normally.

After installation: The light will automatically turn on at night and turn off during the day.

Important: Always point the solar panel towards the equator (for example, towards the south if in the northern hemisphere). Always maintain a tilt angle of at least 15° to avoid dust accumulation (0° = horizontal plane).
